A good study spot depends on what works for you. e.g. do you like background noise or do you need peace and quite or something in between? As someone smart once said, know thyself blah blah blah...

  • Future Bakery and Cafe I like the one in the ANNEX. It has a cool vibe, you can sit and ponder, study and radomly watch people as they pass by
  • Food Courts Usually in shopping malls, but if your not with a group you have to pick up all your stuff to go to the bathroom AND seets aren't too comfy for the most part
  • Parks if its a nice day its a nice place to read, but you're subject to the whims of mother nature, errant frisbees and wandering canines.
  • Second Cup free unlimited wi-fi access.
  • Starbucks free wi-fi for 2 hours.
  • Tim Hortons But some of them have a seeting time limit, good in a pinch
  • Toronto Metro Reference Libary Lots of space, nice and relatively quite but you can't bring in snacks

End notes, such as a plea to improve the look of the list. Tabular formatting, perhaps?
