With over one-hundred and twenty years of history, the Robert Burns Lodge, a Masonic Lodge, has served both Burns and Harney County. Over the course of this time, the Lodge has used four buildings to hold their meetings. Originally using the  Odd Fellows Building (1890-1894), they then moved to a new regular meeting hall rented from P.F. Stenger.[1] In 1910, the Masonic Lodge proved able to gather the funds necessary to build their own Lodge Hall. This construction, pictured above, took place on the northwest corner of W. Washington Street and N. Broadway.[2] In 1977, the Robert Burns Lodge once again moved this time into a newly constructed Lodge Hall located at 1210 W. Taylor St. just west of the cemetery.[3]
