With a history that extends for over a century, Burns has been a home to many organizations over the years. Saddled between Adams and Washington Streets on the west side of N. Broadway, the Odd Fellows have called the Odd Fellows building home since 1910. Built entirely of native stone and measuring 50’x100’, the Sylvia Rebekah Lodge #43, an independent Odd Fellows lodge, continue to use most of the second story as their lodge quarters, which includes a banquet room and kitchen, while the remaining eight offices on the second floor and the entire first floor have been rented out to various groups and stores over the years.[1] At present, the street level is occupied by Gourmet and Gadgets kitchen store.
