REID, FRANCIS

Francis Ellis ‘Frank’ Reid was born in 1918 in Chapman Twp., the son of Alex Reid and Mary Alice Osborne. He was the 8^th of 11 children born to Alex and Mary Alice.

As noted, Frank enlisted in Hamilton in 1943 and was a small arms instructor at Camp Borden.

There was a Frank E. Reid born in 1917 who died in 1992 in Orillia. His wife’s name was given as Vera.

The family continued to live in Chapman Twp. at the time of the 1921 census.
