Here is the complete report that we got from the Ferguson Police Department today: [Aug 15, 2014]

However, this robbery report is misleading because it had little to do with the actual shooting. Darrel Wilson was not the same officer who responded to the robbery and stopped Michael Brown and his friend for "walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic" (in an area with no sidewalks).

"Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson held a second press conference this afternoon, where he said that the robbery was not related to the confrontation between Brown and Wilson. Jackson said the officer stopped Brown because he was in the street blocking traffic, and did not know about the robbery or that Brown might be a suspect." -- The Wire

Despite not directly relating to the shooting, the report was released, according to Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson "because you asked for it."
