Who We Are

We are a community, not-for-profit organisation based in the Coast and Vale Community Action (CaVCA) office at ‘The Street’ in Scarborough. We are led by parents of children with disabilities and special needs. We also have access to expert advice.

There is no need to have a diagnosis or an official or professional referral, although we welcome contact with and work alongside other agencies.

We are all parents ourselves that have been through the process and we believe that by bringing all our knowledge together of what works and what doesn’t – we can help others. It’s a safe bet that if we haven’t got the right answer, we will pretty well know who can give it to you.

What We Do

We provide information, advice and guidance together with social groups and fun activities for families of children with disabilities and special needs.
