    • The automobile sales and show room is being moved to the upper building of the Three Villages Building Association on Foundry Hill; the beauty parlor goes to premises formerly occupied by Munroe Farms, in the Royal Bank building,; the A & P store to the Baldwin building opposite the hotel; the Chinese laundry across the bridge to the Parsons building; the Bouchard market to the old drug store building across the street.
  • Stanstead Journal, Jan. 19, 1928: “Eighty-Three Years Ago.”
    • At the time of the publication of the first issue on Nov. 9, 1845 the office [of the Stanstead Journal] was in the “White” building that was located on the site of the Royal Bank building.
