The Oakland Community Stage was last spotted at First Friday on Feb. 1st., 2013. It is an ad hoc stage available for anyone to perform on. It appears to be run by Open Sound Productions. On its Facebook page, it's described as "An Open forum for performers, artist, production teams, community organizers and event coordinators.
This stage will be set up with the agenda of attracting art and performance resources from all over Oakland. This effort intends to highlight the beautiful diversity of Oakland to invite small and large scale sponsorship, business community resources while bringing unique marketing exposure and financial capital to Oakland City, Businesses and Organizations."
