Description	A self-help support organization made up of families who have lost a son or daughter through a violent death, in addition to other people who have lost a loved one through homicide. Information, emotional support and contact with other survivors is offered at informal monthly group meetings, by telephone and by mail. Victims are offered assistance in understanding and coping with their grief, the criminal justice system and other special problems faced by survivors of a violent death. Also publishes a monthly newsletter
