Cameron Withgot Wolfe (August 14, 1910 - December 19, 2002) was the Assistant District Attorney in Oakland, California under Earl Warren in the 1930s. Wolfe served in Oakland from 1946 to 1971 in two positions, that of the United States Commissioner, and then the United States Magistrate. In later years Wolfe opened his Oakland law firm, practicing until 1975.
A 1927 graduate of University High School in Oakland, Wolfe graduated from Stanford University in 1931, and obtained his law degree from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley in 1934.
In 1940, the Wolfes lived at 4157 Lakeshore Avenue in Oakland.
During WWII Lt. Commander Wolfe served as a code breaker stationed in San Francisco.
In 1975, when he was 65 years old, Wolfe was appointed the Northern District of California United States bankruptcy judge, a position he held until his retirement at 81 years of age.
Cameron W. Wolfe and his wife Jean McLaren Brown Wolfe (July 9, 1913 - February 16, 2010) were married for 66 years at the time of his death at age 92; together they had three sons: Cameron, Jr., Bruce and Robert. Cameron and Jean are buried in the Delger family plot in Mountain View Cemetery, as Jean was the great-granddaughter of Frederick Delger.
