This parade started in 1987. Its taken place every since then near the end of November usually in the neighbourhood of Streetsville. Typically the Santa Claus parade goes south on Queen Street South from Britannia Road to Old Station Road. The parade consists of floats, bands, walking groups, mascots, horses, dog among a number of other things.
