Might be able to be self repaired. We've replaced screensand batteries on iPhones. Parts and videos are available.

Apple

  • You can send it thru online apple store for repair. They send you an envelope to mail it and then they mail it back...not the best solution - i did this with my husbands ipad and it was pretty quick.
