Overview 

The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is a large park, which offers a variety of different trails, bridges, monuments, and statues of which anyone can freely enjoy. The park does not offer access to eating areas, but it is completely pet friendly. You can find the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park located on 2332 New Garden Road, Greensboro, N.C. 


Attractions 

The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park features many beautiful stone monuments, as well as a wonderful museum. The museum features a multitude of interesting artifacts depicting life around the time period of the American Revolution, such as weapons and instruments. The exhibit also features a summary of the history which took place on the grounds of the park. 

Bicycling

Bicycling is completely allowed by the park, and bikers are able to take advantage of the battlefield just the same as anyone else. Bikers are expected for follow a few simple, but key rules, but have full access to the same trails as everyone else. 

Indoor Activities 

There are multiple indoor activities that the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park offers to patrons, with many activities changing seasonally.  

Visitor Center

The visitor center featured in the park is a wonderful place to begin ones visit. Here you are able to talk to park rangers, watch short films on the park, enjoy the bookstore, and gather general information. 

Safety 

While The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is generally quite safe, there are some things which one should look out for. Poison Ivy is a concern for those traversing the many trails that the park has to offer; to avoid this, simply do not stray far from the trails. Ticks, squirrels, snakes, lizards, turtles, and many more animals also call The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park home, and one should take care so as to not disturb the natural habitat that these animals inhabit.
