Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar was founded in 1998 by restaurateurs Paul Fleming and Bill Allen at Newport Beach, CA. They sought to combine a fine dining experience with a casual appeal, and they provide prime beef and an extensive wine list.

About the Food

They serve USDA quality prime beef. Prime beef by the USDA's definition is “abundant marbling” and produced from “young, well-fed beef cattle.” They broil the steaks at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as their plates to make sure the food remains hot while guests eat.

Aside from steaks, Fleming’s offers fish and vegetarian options, such as the Barbecue Scottish Salmon Filet, Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, and the California Power Grain Bowl (unlisted on menu but will accommodate upon request.) They also have a variety of appetizers available, ranging from the Sweet Chile Calamari, Seafood Tower, the raw Beef Carpaccio, and Shrimp Cocktail.

Additionally, Fleming’s offers a selection of salads and soups, ranging from Lobster Bisque, French Onion, Wedge Salad, Fleming's Salad, and their Caesar Salad.

Their side options are served family style, meaning they are hefty portions enough to share with the table. These include the au gratin Fleming’s Potatoes, Chipotle Cheddar Mac and Cheese, and Roasted Asparagus. It is important to note that they are not included with the purchase of an entree.
