Chopt makes 17 scratch-made dressings, and freshly brewed iced teas and lemonades daily. Crew members of Chopt gather all topping’s then toss is your chosen dressing. Chopt travels to a new destination every few months, creating a limited-time only menu inspired by the locations they visit. Their current destination salads include: the NYC street cart bowl, and the Moroccan Market bowl. The company also serves any salad as a wrap.

The company was founded in 2001 by Colin McCabe and Tony Shure in New York City, and focuses on locally sourced ingredients and menu. They aspire to reinvent salad in exciting, flavorful ways. Recently, Chopt Travels went to Italy to try homme made parmesan cheese, which is soon to be available at Chopt Greensboro.

Chopt is located between WineStyles and across the street from Mimi’s Café in the Friendly Center. Chopt also has outdoor seating. The Friendly Center is a large, open-air shopping center located in northwestern Greensboro, North Carolina, near the intersection of Wendover Avenue and Friendly Avenue. The shopping center opened in August 1957. 150 retailers and restaurants makeup the outdoor shopping village. The Friendly Center in Greensboro is a local favorite.
