Melanie is the former Arts Editor for the California Aggie ('06-'07). She currently does events-planning, publicity and administrative work at the Davis Art Center and freelances for various publications like The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento News & Review, Midtown Monthly, Tom Tom Magazine (http://www.tomtommag.com), and Fluff Zine.
She does vocals and drums for Buildings Breeding, and lives in a house in Sacramento's Midtown with her longtime beau Christapher Larsen. Though she lives in Sacramento, she is also the 2nd Friday ArtAbout Coordinator for the Davis Downtown Business Association, and organizes the monthly ArtAbout in Downtown Davis.
