2012-11-19 17:53:57   I highly recommend Jack as the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure to experience. I have enjoyed getting massages on a regular basis for more than 20 years so I have had lots of experience. I had a shoulder injury, ruptured disks and recent surgery to contend with and no one had been able to give me any relief so I was seriously considering repair surgeries when I first met Jack. Thank heavens he convinced me to wait, try a couple of sessions and see how my body responded. Needless to say I was hooked and was a steady weekly customer for over a year. Alas he moved to Davis and he is very sorely missed in southern California. —SherriDemetre

2015-10-29 21:30:27   Jack has worked on my old, creaky, painful body for almost 2 years now, and I can't emphasize enough how amazingly skillful he is at identifying the exact muscles/tendons/joints that are causing the pain, and expertly working on them to relieve soreness and pain. I suffer from arthritis, chronic severe migraines, a knee badly in need of replacement, and painful joints and muscles from overuse and age. Jack LISTENS and asks the right questions, and then focuses on what needs to be done to relieve my pain. He is simply a miracle worker, and I'm continually impressed with his skills. He is also 100% professional, and put me at ease immediately. I've always felt comfortable and fully covered on the table, even though I'm a somewhat "fluffy" grandma and he is young enough to be my son! :-) I highly recommend Jack Strickland! —lindacurrent

2015-11-02 11:39:37   Jack is, hands down, the best whole-body massage therapist I have experienced in my life, and I have been to many, many different therapists. Not only is his technique the best, but he tailors the massage to my individual needs. I am an active runner and hiker and, due to my age and activity level, experience many tight muscles and light injuries. Not only does Jack work on the areas I point out, he also finds areas that I don't tell him about but need work. (I only tell him the spots that are really troubling me so that he will concentrate on those areas.) But wait, there's more--as they say in infomercials ;-) Jack also gives me 'homework,' that is, exercises to do between massages to work on the areas of special concern. Now that is all that I can ask for in a professional health care worker. I highly recommend Jack to anyone who needs body work or just a feel-good massage as well. —gdstockdale

2015-12-13 15:15:30   Jack is incredible! I've had many back injuries over the years and lots of massage therapy. Jack is the best massage I've had in a long long time! I'm so glad I've found him! It's amazing what he can accomplish in just one session. I always feel relaxed after! He also gives me tips on stretches I can do at home to help release tight spots. I highly recommend him! —elissa

2016-01-01 23:07:26   Jack is awesome and this is why. I have been to a number of massage therapists and Jack is the only one that treats your whole body, not just symptoms that you have. He finds out why you have those symptoms and then treats the cause. I am an avid long-distance runner and have come to him with very specific issues only to have him find other underlying issues (that might not even be running related) causing my pain. I have used Jack's services before as well as others but always come back to him because I was never satisfied with other therapists' ineffective massages. They feel nice and all, but I'm looking for treatment, not a fluffy, feel-good approach. I'm so pleased that Jack opened his own practice so that I can schedule regular sessions with him instead of going through a salon. Try Jack out, you will truly be amazed at his holistic approach. —DebWestergaard

2016-01-15 12:21:10   Jack is a skilled and attentive massage therapist. After being a client for more than a year, I continue to be impressed not only by his therapeutic message technique but by the way he listens. By combining these skills he is able to assess, address and reduce any muscle, tendon and joint issues I might have—plus he offers suggestions for exercises and stretches that I can do between visits to enhance my well being. —lalewis6
