Asian Classics Institute

The Asian Classics Institute is an organization dedicated to expounding the Buddhist meditation and yoga practices of the Gelug tradition of Tibet. In addition to short seminars of interest to the general public, the institute also teaches intensive courses based on the Great Six Books of Buddhism. The institute's complete program seeks to condense the essence of a 20-year monastic education into a relatively brief time frame. Most of the classes are free or have a suggested donation.

The local branch of ACI is based in both Davis and Sacramento. The Davis groups meet mainly at the Davis Holistic Health Center. The Sacramento groups meet at Yoga Seed.
