Quoted from the 1954 Attica Torch, "The Attica football team finished up its 1953 season as County Champions. Coach Conk and Coach Panek started the boys on a single wing offense and switched to a "T" formation in midseason. The result was a won five, lost two record.

The majority of the starting eleven will graduate this year, but there are many underclassmen to replace them and try to keep the County Championship in Attica."
