The Skyland community is roughly defined by the area around Skyland Road, bordered by Stetson Road, San Jose/Soquel Road, Summit/Highland Way and Radonich Road. There once was a community there still evidenced by the old Skyland single room school (now a residence) and the Skyland Community Church, both on Skyland Road close to where it intersects Miller Hill.
