Peerless Coffee & Tea is an old school local coffee purveyor that traces its coastal Oakland roots to 1924. Peerless makes truly excellent coffee and you can find it brewed in many local coffeeshops across Oakland (including Fresh and Best 2, Colonial Donuts, etc.). You can also buy it in bulk in a number of Oakland stores. Peerless HQ in Jack London Square sells freshly-brewed coffee, has a retail section, and includes their wholesale office.
